About

I’m the artist behind Motorsketch™ — a personal project born out of my love for classic cars and the joy of illustration.

Why Cars?

There’s just something about these old machines that gets me. I’m drawn to their design and their character. Whether it’s the raw energy of an early Quattro, the ingenuity of the little AE86, or the game-changing Porsche 356 — every one of them has its own personality. I try to capture that soul in my work.

My Approach

Everything you see here is painted by hand. I work primarily in watercolor, and ink on paper, often layering in gouache or pastel for texture and depth. I don’t aim for photorealism — I’m more interested in mood, movement, and the feeling the car gives me.

Motorsketch

Motorsketch is simply the name I gave this body of work. It’s not a big studio or a team — it’s just me, my brushes, and a growing collection of paintings that celebrate the cars I love. If something here resonates with you, I’m truly glad.

Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to explore the work, and if you’d like to stay in touch, the newsletter is the best way to follow along with new pieces and studio stories.
